Jeremiah Johns is a former insurance defense attorney who now represents plaintiffs in bad faith insurance, catastrophic injury cases, and commercial disputes.
As a plaintiff lawyer, Jeremiah has represented hundreds of policyholders in property damage, life insurance, business interruption, long-term disability, health, and commercial coverage cases.
Jeremiah’s experience representing some of the nation’s largest insurance companies provides a unique perspective on what it takes to favorably resolve a case for his clients.
Scholarship Contest Overview
We are asking students to write a 500-1000 word essay about the importance of Checks and Balances within our government. We will choose one (1) essay for the scholarship contest.
We will select the most cohesive, compelling, and best-written essay.
The chosen submission will receive $2,500 to put towards their tuition or school expenses on behalf of the John’s Law Group.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be enrolled or accepted into an ABA-accredited law school in the United States as of the fall 2023 semester.
Deadline
- Applicants must submit their essays and other required information by August 1, 2024.
- The winner of the scholarship will be notified no later than August 15th, 2024.
